Twin Creeks Technologies Introduces New Wafer System

twincreeks1 Twin Creeks Technologies Introduces New Wafer SystemTwin Creeks Technologies has introduced a new wafer production system that dramatically reduces the cost of solar modules and semiconductor devices. The new system dubbed Hyperion reduces the amount of silicon and other substrate materials by up to 90%. The company takes advantage of a technology called Proton Induced Exfoliation (PIE). Wafer are less than 1/10th the thickness of conventional wafers.
